This is our take on the classic Kephart style woodsman knife made popular by the great outdoorsman Horace Kephart.
It is a great all around blade that can skin, chop, and slice. The spear point blade allows it to drill holes for bushcraft use. It is slightly convexed across the whole blade width to provide excellent strength. The stout 3/16" steel with differential heat treatment allows the blade to be used for light chopping and batoning. Blade length is 4.25" with an overall length of 9".
The beautiful crosscut micarta scales add a refined look while still be very durable. The scales are secured with 2 ton epoxy, a custom mosaic pin, and copper Corby bolt and lanyard tube to ensure a lifetime of use.
The knife includes a hand tooled and stitched brown leather belt sheath for right hip carry.
