This bracelet is one straight, even, forged twist. It has just a slight highlight to give it a little shine and measures 6&7/8" around (including the opening) with a 1&7/16" opening.
My forged cuff bracelets are made from steel square stock. I twist each one free hand to give it a one of a kind pattern and then form it around the horn of the anvil. I like to finish them in a variety of different ways; some retain their forge blackened finish, some get a quick grind across the high points to give a nice highlight, and some are taken even a step further to be polished for a brighter shine to really catch the eye! My goal with these is to offer a style for every kind of person and for no two of them to ever be exactly the same!
Given that these bracelets are made of steel there is a chance that they will rust, but if you wear it frequently the oils in your skin do act as something of a protectant. If it should happen to rust just use an abrasive pad such as those used for pots and pans to brush the surface rust off.
How to size: Measure your wrist all the way around bearing in mind that you will want some wiggle room (depending on how tight or loose you like to wear your bracelets/watches). This will help determine how big around you will need your cuff to be. Next you want to take your thumb and middle finger of your opposite hand and use it to measure how large an opening you will need. Place your thumb in the meaty part of the inside of your wrist and your middle finger in the middle of the back of your wrist. Roll your "finger bracelet" onto your wrist keeping your fingers almost as tight as possible. You may want to do this a couple of times to tell how it will be most comfortable. You want it to be tight enough to not just slide off sideways, but obviously not so tight you can't slide it over your wrist. Once you've got a good idea of that you will want to take the measurement of the space between your thumb and middle finger in that "bracelet position". This will be the "space" measurement that you will want to look for.
Please always feel free to reach out with any questions! Also, bear in mind that if you see a bracelet you like but it seems a little too big or small, I am able to make minor adjustments to it or make you one similar!
